The How and Why of Success

Which is more important: knowing "how" to do something or knowing "why" you want to do something? When we first start mentoring someone, we always ask them that question, because becoming clear about the answer is one of the first steps to realizing a rich life. While there is no right or wrong answer to this question for an individual, most successful millionaires will tell you that it's the "why" that is more critical.
WHY Not Take the First Step?
There is an old saying that goes something like this: "there are a million roads that lead to Rome." It's true, there are a multitude of ways HOW you can travel there. However, if you are currently sitting in your London flat and have no reason WHY to go to Rome, the million roads are not available to you. You won't get creative about how you are going to get there or start taking the first steps down the path. The HOWs will never show themselves. Many of us want to be financially independent. Well, we want you to know that just as there are a million ways to get to Rome, there are a million ways to become outrageously successful.
